On-site use of the estates of Josef Steindl and Kurt W. Rothschild

Online access to digital full-text documents and personal data is restricted for some of the copyrighted works and for materials that are subject to special protection under privacy law (letters, manuscripts).

However, you can freely browse all of our digital files on-site after signing the applicable terms of use and a mandatory application for access to the materials. Due to reasons of preservation and conservation, the hard-copy originals are not available for use.

If you would like to use our materials on-site, please send an email to bibliothek@wu.ac.at and let us know in advance when you will be coming, for how long you intend to use the archives, and what your needs and requirements are.
